I had been in the UK for 5 months and wanted my family to join me. I needed a house for my wife and our 3 children although I could not afford to rent a room for myself. I was working in Dover on a merge wage. I decided to be fasting and praying everyday I was off from work, asking God to give me a house before my family came to join me. It was a leap of faith and an impossibility in the natural.

One day shortly after prayer I was waiting on the Lord to hear what He would say to me. The Holy Spirit told me ‘Go to Luton and I will give you a house there’. A couple of weeks later I took a train to Luton for the first time and walked into an Estate Agent and registered for a house. I expected the agent to tell me that “we have a house waiting for you” as the Lord had told me. I walked out disappointed as he said they had no house at that time. As I walked out and onto the High street I started saying to God “you promised me a house and you have not given me, I came all the way here at your word“. As I communed with God in my heart, reminding him that he is true to his word, suddenly I heard someone from behind me saying “you are looking for a house? Come and see what I have“. This guy was from the Estate Agent I had just registered with a few minutes ago, who had followed me. I went with him, saw the house. It was a perfect and the ideal house for my family which we moved into when they arrived in the UK a few weeks later. We thank God for His faithfulness and answer to prayer.
