Growing in the Lord
Read the Word of God (2 Timothy 2:15), for faith in God comes by hearing and hearing the Word of God. (Romans 10:17)
WAYS OF STUDY
- Before you read the Bible ask the Holy Spirit for wisdom and revelation.
- Read chapter to chapter prayerfully – beginning with the Gospel of John.
- Study at least a Chapter or 15 verse portion a day seeking the following answers:
WHAT DO I LEARN:-
- About God The Father, Son and Holy Ghost?
- About who I am in Christ.
- About the major doctrines of the Bible e.g Salvation, Holy Spirit, Holiness etc.
- Is there a promise I can claim?
- Is there a command I can obey or something in which I must change?
(Practice the Word you learn)
Attend your local church and become part of all activities of God’s people. (Hebrews 10:25, Psalm 84:10, Be baptised in water (Matthew 28:18-20)
Tell others about Jesus and the salvation we have in Him i.e witness (Luke 24:46-48, Daniel 12:3, Proverbs 11:30)
